Papiamentu wins the gold medal for the ABC islands: Curaçao, Bonaire and Aruba are now world leaders in language and education policy

Prof. Faraclas has worked for the past 30 years on language education and policy issues in North America, Latin America, Africa and the South Pacific. He has published several books and many articles on literacy and the different approaches to language education taken by governments, schools, and communities all over the world. In this presentation, he compares the ABC islands with other countries worldwide in terms of their performance in the areas of language policy and language education.
