Basic Oil Painting Techniques by Carlos Blaaker

Oil paints have been most artists' first choice with good reason. The colors are gorgeous, you can do anything with them and they last forever. Oil paint is slow drying so you can remove what you don’t like while it’s wet or you can paint over it when it’s dry. Oil paint is easy to use once you learn the basics.
Introduction to Welding by Fonz Heijdens

Welding is the process of joining metals by melting the parts and then using a filler to form a joint. Welding can be done using different energy sources, from a gas flame or electric arc to a laser or ultrasound. During this workshop Fonz Heijdens will introduce the MIG (Metal Inert Gas) Welding Technique. Gas Welding is widely used for repair work, especially in anything involving pipes and tubes. Gas welding is common in the jewelry industry, as well as for the welding of plastics and other materials that cannot stand higher temperatures. Payment in advance is required.
Jewelry Design with Silver Clay by Margo Nelissen

Silver clay is a wonderfully versatile substance which is relatively new to the field of jewelry-making. It is simple to use and because of that it enables people to make beautiful jewelry without many years of training as silversmiths. It consists of minute particles of pure silver mixed with a non-toxic organic binder, which binds the silver particles together to form a clay-like substance. In the clay form it can be manipulated just like clay – it can be rolled, flattened, cut with a blade, pressed into molds, impressed with shapes and textures – in fact anything you can do with ordinary ceramic clay. You can also set stones into it. Payment in advance is required.
Creative Mind Mapping by Jolien van Kesteren

The reason a mind map is such a powerful tool for learning, memory and creativity is because it combines all of those activities and they reflect the structure of thought and memory which work via association, imagination and images. Mind maps provide a very powerful aid in studying, problem solving, note taking, writing and decision making. They can also greatly assist creativity and memory as they enable the visualization, organization, association of ideas and information. Your mind functions many times more effectively when you are fully utilizing both sides of the brain. The left side deals mainly with words, numbers, logic, lists. The right side deals mainly with Color, Rhythm, Imagination, daydreaming and seeing the whole picture.
